The first Exhibition of the Best of Building Industry Development was held in cooperation with Iran Chamber of Cooperatives with participation of top Iranian officials and MPs at Iran Mall’s Permanent Center for the International Exhibition and Trade Events.

According to Iran Mall Exhibition Center, this exhibition was held from May 1 to 4, 2018, coinciding with the unveiling of Iran Mall’s first phase, with the aim of offering employment opportunities and supporting producers and consumers, with the participation of some 130 domestic manufacturing companies in an area of more than 12,700 square meters in the three main halls of this exhibition center, where some of the best in the building industry were honored.

Attending the exhibition, Hassan Ghazizadeh Hashemi, a former ‘Minister of Health and Medical Education’, described the Exhibition of the Best of Building Industry Development as a great opportunity for domestic producers to take part in.

On the sidelines of a visit to the exhibition and with reference to the government's policy to support large shopping centers and malls, Akbar Torkan, a former ‘Advisor to President in Coordinating Renovation of Worn, Unstable Urban Buildings Affairs’ also said, “In my opinion, this project goes beyond a mall and is a global-scale business”.

“Iran Mall is more a cultural center than a market for selling goods, as more than 70 per cent of the spaces created in Iran Mall have a cultural background that symbolizes Iranian architecture, Islamic architecture and Iranian art. In this national project, cultural thinking has dominated commercial thinking, which is highly commendable,” he pointed out.

Pointing out that international exhibitions were the main way to set foot in the global market, the director of Iran Mall Exhibition Center went on to say that, "If you want to compare Iranian products, you need to provide a proper condition for competition, which has been created at Iran Mall’s Permanent Center for the International Exhibition and Trade Events”.

He noted that, “Iran Mall can serve as an export terminal, and the main purpose of all activities is to serve our people”.
