The women’s national Tai Chi Chuan championship was attended by over 100 athletes from around the country.

According to Iran Mall Exhibition Center, some 114 female athletes attended this tournament at Iran Mall’s Permanent Center for the International Exhibition and Trade Events in four age groups, including children, adolescents, youth, and adults, in 25 groups.

At the end of these competitions, Tehran came first with 16 gold, 18 silver and 14 bronze medals, with Alborz Province winning the second place with 5 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals. Yazd Province also finished third with 4 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.

This tournament was widely welcomed by the visitors.

It should be noted that the men's championship will also be held at the end of this week simultaneously with the fitness and sporting exhibition on December 19 and 20 at Iran Mall’s Permanent Center for the International Exhibition and Trade Events.
