The men’s national Tai Chi Chuan championship was held on December 19 and 20, 2019, at the presence of the Head of the Deputy Department for Championship Sport Development and the Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth for Cultural Affairs and Public Sport Development at Iran Mall’s Permanent Center for the International Exhibition and Trade Events.

According to Iran Mall Exhibition Center, the competition was attended by more than 140 athletes from around the country, with Head of the Deputy Department for Championship Sport Development Mehdi Alinezhad as well as Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth for Cultural Affairs and Public Sport Development Seyyed Abdolhamid Ahmadi visiting the events.

The competition was held for two days in the two sections of ‘Form Execution and Fight’ at Iran Mall Exhibition Center, which was well-attended by participants from various provinces.

Tehran finally came first with 13 gold, 18 silver and 16 bronze medals, with West Azerbaijan Province winning the second place with 6 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals as a result of the good performance of its representatives from Sardasht City. Alborz Province also finished third with 4 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals.
