The 5th International Congress of Universal Scientific Education and Research Network (USERN 2020) with the slogan of “Science Without Borders” and with the presence of the world's top 1 percent scientists in various fields, supported by some 100 universities and scientific centers from 35 countries around the globe will be held on 7-10 October 2020 in Iran Mall Exhibition Center.

After the successful holding of the International Congress of Universal Scientific Education and Research Network in Ukraine and Italy, Iran was chosen to host USERN 2020 at the 4th USERN Congress, held in Vigado, affiliated to the Hungarian Academy of Arts.

The opening, closing and awarding ceremony of the 5th Annual Congress of Scientific Innovation Award of the 5th International Congress of Universal Scientific Education and Research Network USERN 2020 will be attended by all the special speakers of this event at the Iran Mall Exhibition Center. It is worth mentioning that this congress includes special parallel scientific programs that will be held on October 8 and 9 in different places of Iran Mall.

Since the health of all speakers and participants is of great importance to the USERN Congress, the congressional program is formulated in two distinct modules:

Program 1:

Hybrid Model is a combination of face-to-face and virtual programs, the items of which are listed on the official website of the Congress at userncongress.tums.ac.ir and will be implemented in compliance with all health protocols.

It should be noted that Iran Mall Exhibition Center, as the host of the congress, has designed and implemented the International Comprehensive Health Protocol for the Exhibition & Convention Centers (ICHPEC), which covers all individuals and stakeholders. The protocol includes guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health, the World Health Organization (WHO), the Global Association of Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the International Association of Convention Centers (AIPC) in five different groups: Exhibition Centers, Organizers, Contractors, Exhibitors and Visitors.

Program 2:

In case of unfavorable conditions and changes in the protocols of the Ministry of Health, all congressional programs will be held virtually at the Iran Mall Exhibition Center.

USERN Network has been established since the beginning of 2016 with the slogan of "Science without Borders" with the aim of developing and realizing this slogan. To this end, with the expansion of international cooperation with different countries, geographical boundaries will be removed, and by designing and carrying out interdisciplinary projects, the connection between different sciences will be established and the boundary of science being a discipline will be removed. These goals are pursued with the help of networking and without any political orientation and goals around the world in order to further establish the special position of science in the world.

During the first 4 years of its establishment, this network has had significant scientific growth and has valuable activities in its resumé. The members of the USERN Network's advisory board, which is responsible for the network's major decisions, include top 1 percent scientists in the various sciences, as well as Nobel and Abel winners. More than 450 top 1 percent scientists in various fields and 18 Nobel and Abel winners are now members of its advisory board. In addition, more than 13,000 people, including professors and students from 120 countries, have joined the network.

One of the most important activities of the USERN network is the awarding of the USERN Prize, which is awarded annually in five branches of science, including formal sciences, physical sciences, chemical sciences, biological sciences, medical sciences and social sciences. Participants in the competition are young scientists under the age of 40 from around the world who are nominated for an award each year by the secretariat, and then judged by a panel of advisors based on their research background as well as the presentation of a scientific project. The best nominee in each category will be announced at the awards festival on November 10 each year, which coincides with World Science Day for Peace and Development.
