The 8^th Conference on Public Relations and Industry, Public Relations and Solutions to Overcoming Economic Challenges was held on May 17, 2019, at Iran Mall’s Permanent Center for the International Exhibition and Trade Events with the participation of over 1,000 Iranian professors and activists in the field of public relations.

According to Iran Mall Exhibition Center, Seyyed Gholamreza Kazemi Dinan welcomed the conference participants and added that, "The organizing staff of the public relations and industry conference are striving to make the content, presented at this conference, qualitatively better than ever before in order for the participants to keep up with the technology developments and make the most of the new tools".

Kazemi Dinan laid stress on the fact that that public relations progress was favorable in the country.

Stressing that the activists of this field should be keeping up to date with the latest developments, he said, "Public relations have changed with the advent of social networks and we need to be up-to-date to succeed in public relations."

Numerous papers on new businesses and communication and service applications, effective communications with extra-organizational interested parties, examination of the role of the Sixth Continent in industry, the applied model of positive extra-organizational communication management and public relations of the start-ups and public relations startups were presented at the conference.
